Neighborhood restaurants will also offer food and drink specials featuring French cuisine and beyond - from pastries, croissants, and macarons, to lunch items grilled outside, and wine discounts.

A Panel Discussion on Solutions to DC's Housing Affordability Crisis

Join the Young Democrats of Ward 2 and 6 for a panel to discuss how to reduce housing costs in Washington DC.

Our panel will be made up of Alex Bacca, DC Policy Director for Greater Greater WashingtonWill Merrifield, Founder of the Center for Social Housing and Investment and 2020 candidate for an At-Large seat on the D.C. Council; Leonard Edwards from Bread for The City; and Sheila Reid, President & CEO of Avanti Real Estate Services and former Chair of the DC Board of Zoning Adjustment.

The panelists all share the goal of reducing housing costs for the residents of DC, but come from different perspectives on how to do that. You won't want to miss this informative and lively discussion on just what we need to do to make DC a place people can afford to live in. Audience questions welcome! We will engage in the panel discussion from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM, and move to Urban Roast across the street for a happy hour at 7:00 PM to continue the conversation in a more casual environment.
