Open Streets 7th Street NW
Open Streets is returning! One mile of 7th Street NW will be closed to vehicles to allow people to safely walk, run, bike, and play.
Open Streets will include hourly programmed classes and demonstrations, including yoga, dancing, and more! The event is free and suitable for all ages and abilities. No cars, just people!

2024 Vice Presidential Debate
The debate will start at 9:00 PM EDT on October 1. It is being moderated by “CBS Evening News” anchor Norah O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan of CBS’ “Face the Nation.”
CBS News is airing on its broadcast network live and will livestream it on all platforms where CBS News 24/7 and Paramount+ are available. It’s also being made available for simulcast, and other networks will likely air it. Check your local listings.
